TatStudio is published by Toolbelt. By installing and using TatStudio, you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard End User License Agreement, which governs the iOS app itself.

The app, in plain language

TatStudio is a personal tattoo-design tool. It runs on your iPhone. It is not a tattoo artist, not a medical tool, not a legal tool. The designs we generate are starting points for a conversation with a licensed artist. You are responsible for the design you eventually get tattooed.

Pricing

TatStudio is free to download. The free tier includes 3 generations. TatStudio Pro offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock unlimited generations, 4 variants per design, AR preview, PNG export, reference board, and stencil export. Payment is processed by Apple and charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app and App Store for your storefront before purchase.

Acceptable use

• You may use TatStudio for personal tattoo design and to share generated images with your artist or on social media.
• You may NOT use TatStudio to generate copyrighted characters, brand logos, trademarks, or images of identifiable real people without their consent. The app blocks the obvious cases; the responsibility for the prompt is yours.
• You may NOT use TatStudio to generate hateful imagery, sexual content involving minors, or anything else prohibited by Apple's App Store guidelines.

Ownership of generated images

You own the images you generate (subject to OpenAI's terms, which currently grant you ownership of outputs). We claim no rights over your generations beyond a non-exclusive license to host the request transiently.

Warranty disclaimer

TatStudio is provided "as is" with no warranty. A tattoo is permanent — we do not warrant that any generated design is suitable for tattooing, free of issues, or that an artist will agree to execute it. Always consult a licensed tattoo artist.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toolbelt's total liability for any claim related to TatStudio is limited to the amount you paid for TatStudio Pro in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms when we ship new features. Material changes will be summarized in the app's release notes.
